What this site does with data

The calculators run in your browser and do not send the measurements you enter to our servers. We do not change the address bar while you type. If you press Copy link, the measurements are added to that link after a # sign: browsers do not send that part to a website when the link is opened, but whoever you give the link to, and any service where you paste it, can read it.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

The site has no user accounts, contact forms or advertising.

Messages by email

Purpose

To respond to enquiries about Volunaro and receive reports of errors. We do not use these messages to send newsletters or advertising.

Legal basis

For ordinary enquiries and error reports, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving Volunaro and responding to messages addressed to us, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use only the data needed to understand the enquiry, respond and follow up on its resolution. This purpose does not include newsletters or advertising. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us. Requests to exercise data protection rights are handled to comply with our legal obligations.

Retention

We delete email conversations 12 months after the enquiry has been resolved, unless there is a justified reason to retain them for longer. Where an exception applies, we retain only the information necessary for that reason and delete it when that reason no longer applies.

Hosting and technical records

Cloudflare, Inc. provides website hosting, content delivery and network protection. Providing these services involves processing technical connection and traffic data, which may include IP addresses, routing data and system configuration. Volunaro does not enable Workers observability logs or Google Analytics for this launch. This does not mean that Cloudflare processes no technical data: its own processing and retention are described in its Privacy Policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Recipients

Our service providers include Proton AG for contact email and Cloudflare, Inc. for domain registration, website hosting and content delivery. These providers process the data involved in supplying their respective services. Only the site operator has routine human access to the contact mailbox. Data may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. Enquiry messages are not used for newsletters or advertising and original messages or attachments are not submitted to AI services.

International transfers

Proton AG is based in Switzerland, which is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and operates an international network. Its Data Processing Addendum provides standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards for relevant restricted transfers. Provider terms and information about these safeguards are available at https://proton.me/legal/dpa and https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/. Contact volunaro@proton.me for information about the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy. We do not claim that all processing stays within Spain or the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You may contact volunaro@proton.me to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or to object to processing or request data portability, where the applicable legal conditions are met. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), https://www.aepd.es/, or another competent supervisory authority. We normally respond within one month. If an extension is permitted because of the complexity or number of requests, we will inform you within that first month and explain the reasons.
